The petition was presented to the House of Representatives on 29 July 2014 and was referred to the Law and Order Committee. We received and heard evidence from the Ministry of Justice and the New Zealand Police on 6 May 2015 and from the petitioner on 1 April 2015. This report was released on 28 August 2015. Record #4806
