The initial focus of this project was to assess the merits of creating a cross-agency training framework (see item #4513). To assess this the Family Violence Unit (FVU) looked at the current context of family violence training in New Zealand. The FVU talked to a range of family violence stakeholders and survivors. Their issues and ideas have informed this paper.
This paper was prepared for the Taskforce by the Family Violence Unit. This was a deliverable of the Taskforce's Programme of Action 2012/13. This unpublished draft paper has been released under the Official Information Act.
