This information will support the development of effective, culturally appropriate services for Māori male survivors, as outlined in MSA’s Kia Mārire National Strategy and Strategic Agenda. These services are sustained and strengthened by the Guiding Kaupapa of the MSA Working with Māori Policy: Whakapapa, Manaakitanga, Kotahitanga, Rangatiratanga, Whanaungatanga, Kaitiakitanga, and Te Reo Māori. As yet there is only a limited amount of research and information focused specifically around both criteria: male survivors, and kaupapa Māori approaches. Therefore this survey also includes material on: • Male abuse survivors generally; and • Māori abuse survivors and effective approaches grounded in kaupapa Māori. (From the Introduction). This review is presented in the form of an annotated bibliography. Record #7938
