In addition to research identified by the Te Hiringa Mahara team which fell within this scope, the Koi Tū team have included
some limited academic literature identified through keyword searches. This review does not reflect a complete literature review of all available evidence on the determinants of youth wellbeing. Four themes are identified:
1. Bleak futures; 2. Social media, digital technology and safety online; 3. Racism and discrimination; 4. Intergenerational connection and support for and by whānau. From the document).
